RMI Rehabilitation Counsellor & Team + Client = Individualized Rehabilitation Plan
RMI's assessments and interventions are available to children, adolescents and adults who require services following neurotrauma, complex orthopedic injuries, and other complicated conditions or catastrophic trauma.
RMI’s service venue combines research evidence with expert clinical knowledge and reasoning, resulting in the most effective interventions possible for each person. Based on the research and our experience, RMI uses evidence-based models combined with individualised approaches to address service needs. Third party funding (auto insurance, employer insurance, other) is required.
Together the RMI team and the person with the injury (and caregivers) design and implement plans for short and long-term rehabilitation in the community of choice, and according to individual need and lifestyle. In most situations the primary care physician(s) and other treatment team members and stakeholders are involved. The Rehabilitation Management Model (RMM) of community care is a clinical, team-based, rehabilitation model designed to individualize intensity of service according to need. Consultation services also provided on a national & international basis.
